Since 2005 Beyond Differences has been one the most innovative grassroots organization in Greenville. Beyond Differences has been instrumental in creating community dialogue in the area of race relations youth intitiative and Public Safety. Beyond Differences with other community partners created the Race Matters project that addressed local perceptions about race. Beyond Differences along with the Greenville Hospital System created the Minority Health Summit. We develop youth who are critical thinkers. ethically grounded, community conscious, socially reasonable, and culturally adapted. Beyond Differences is the only organization in Greenville County that created a youth on youth mentor model.
We will always work to ensure that Beyond Differences’ Officers, Staff, and Employees work diligently in setting the tone of mutual respect to race and culture as we develop community relations
